Why You Should Start a Fitness Journey
Why should I worry about a fitness routine when I already feel stressed over having too many things to-do each day?
That’s a question I hear a lot from women who are on the fence about starting a weight loss program.
And you know what? – I get it!
As women we tend to be natural-born nurturers. Meaning- we take care of everyone else’s needs before our own. We handle the housework, the demands of our job, the pick-up + drop-off of little ones at daycare…
By the end of the night we’re just thankful for a quiet moment to ourselves where we can cry into our merlot before going to bed + doing it all again tomorrow.
Life’s busy enough without adding even one more thing to our jam-packed schedules.

Here’s the thing: most women believe that the main benefit to working-out + eating right is a smaller jean size.
You may share that same belief.
And so you think: sure, it’d be nice to flaunt a smaller silhouette, but at the end of the day does it really matter that much? I mean- you have bigger, more pressing things on your plate- right?
So, you decide against a fitness routine (for now) + you promise yourself that you’ll start working-out again once life calms down.
You settle because even though you know that you could do better, you also realize that your health could be worse- so you decide it’s alright to coast somewhere in the middle.
But here’s the deal- settling (especially when it comes to your health + fitness) keeps you from experiencing some pretty ah-mazing things!
Exercise may seem like an ordinary habit on the surface- but research shows that exercise is, more importantly, a ‘keystone’ habit.
In architecture, the keystone locks all the other stones into position. In life- keystone habits are the glue that allows other good habits to take hold.
Taking care of yourself is a small spark that ignites the sort of change that allows your life to run smoothly- no more crying in that glass of wine at night 😉
That’s right- women who take action to improve their health tend to also experience:
- More productivity at work
- More restful nights’ sleep
- Improved relationships with their spouse
- Even more financial stability
And it all stems from one simple decision to change your life.
You too can experience the kind of goodness that overflows into other areas of your life.
You just have to stop settling.
After all, you deserve to experience the joy of feeling good about your appearance– confident in the way you present yourself to the world.
You should feel energetic+ in-charge of your life– not tied to a restrictive diet or a rigid workout plan.
Most importantly, you are so worthy of feeling supported + taken care of– the same way you make everyone else who’s under your care feels.
Don’t ever forget that!
Where Most Women Go Wrong with Their Fitness Journey:
So, you’re ready to make changes when it comes to health.
You’re committed this time around, and you’re willing to-do whatever it takes to finally reach your fitness goal.
You promise yourself that you’ll stick to a meal plan- no matter how hard it may be to stay on track. And you vow to wake up an hour earlier each morning in order to find time to go to the gym.
Still, you’re a little fuzzy on exactly what you need to eat or how you should be working-out to actually see results- so you pop open the nearest internet browser + you type this into the Google search bar… ‘the BEST diet + exercise plan for weight loss’.
In a fraction of a second, you’re connected with hundreds of thousands (if not more) articles- all giving you advice on the latest superfoods, fat-burning fruits + the surest way to lose weight.
You searched for ‘the best’ – so surely these methods on page 1 of your search results must be the answer you’re looking for.
Here’s the problem- Google doesn’t know you!
The internet doesn’t take into account whether or not you’re a stay-at-home mom with three little ones vying for your attention.
The internet doesn’t differentiate if you’re a boss babe scaling a 5 or 6-figure business, or if you’re a full-time student on the fast-track to a degree.
The internet doesn’t care if you have access to a gym or if you harbor a certain hate for orange-colored foods.
No- all the internet can do is send you a massive overload of information.

And sure- while keto, paleo clean-eating or [whatever latest fad] may sound enticing- the bigger question is: is it right for YOU?
When it comes to sustainable + lasting weight loss– you don’t need more information. What you need is strategy– one that works within the limits of your life.
After all- it’s the process that delivers the transformation.
And when you discover a system that works for your unique circumstances- you not only enjoy the process more, but you’ll find that the results take care of themselves.
Your health does matter, and your fitness dreams are possible. If you haven’t fully reached your goals yet- I hope you understand it’s not the goal that’s the problem- it’s the strategy you are using to get there.
Are you in need of a better strategy to get you to your fitness goals? Keep reading, friend! In this next section I’m sharing my secret sauce to weight loss success.
How-To Guarantee Success with Your Fitness Journey
How many times have you started a new diet or workout program?
If you’re like me, you’ve probably tried and failed so many times that you’ve lost count.
How would you feel if you never had to experience that again?
Pretty amazing, right?
If you’re tired of starting over, it’s time you took a different approach to weight loss.
Planning, strategizing and learning are key elements to any fitness plan, and I’ve developed a unique, personalized fitness program that encompasses all three.
You see, I work with women who desire healthy + sustainable living– so that they can break free from the diet mentality + finally live life without fear or anxiety around food + fitness.
I don’t just help with the nutrition + exercise stuff- I go beyond that + help you develop the right strategies to make all those healthy habits stick.
Specifically, I take women through 6 Universal Truths that help them build the fitness plan that is right for their personal life’s circumstances.
Here is an outline of what I teach:
Universal Truth 1: To get anywhere, you must first get out of your own way. Though this transformation is very much focused on producing a physical result- we start from the inside out- meaning we start by dissolving those limiting beliefs that have kept you from seeing results in the past. By entering this transformation with the right mindset, you give yourself permission to step into this new, healthier version of your current self.
Universal Truth 2: Decide where you are going. During this part of the program, my clients get crystal clear on what it is that they desire from their fitness program. Setting a goal that truly makes you happy is what gives direction to your fitness plan.
Universal Truth 3: To do less is to accomplish more. Yep, I want you to focus on doing less, not more! So many women believe that success is won by whoever can do the most- but I believe in a better way. I believe in simplifying the process so that you experience less overwhelm + frustration during your journey. When you enjoy the process, you adhere to the program + you show up consistently- and that’s where results come from.
Universal Truth 4: Willpower doesn’t work. I teach you how to leverage the right kind of motivation so that you consistently make progress on your goals- even on the days when you’re not quite feeling it.
Universal Truth 5: Failure is part of the process. I don’t expect perfection from my clients + you shouldn’t expect it from yourself either. Life gets interrupted- that’s inevitable. I make sure you have a contingency plan in place so that you’ll be able to move beyond roadblocks when they arise. Forget starting over- this program is built to withstand the long-haul.
Universal Truth 6: Nothing positive grows from negativity. Self-love does not grow from hate. I guide you on how to stay positive in the present + how to treat yourself lovingly in both your thoughts + actions so that you can feel good in the now (not just once you reach your goal).
My clients then apply these strategies to the 3 Pillars of Weight Loss: Nutrition, Exercise + Rest/Recovery.
I support each + every woman during each step of this highly personalized program.
The result is a truly transformational journey that gets results.
Don’t believe me? Here’s what Jenn had to say:
“I can’t tell you how much my life has changed since we’ve started working in the gym together! Not only do I now look forward to working out (something I use to dread), but I also finally feel in control of my eating habits. I don’t feel stuck eating salads all day, so I’ve avoided binge eating- something I used to be terrible at! I am so happy with how my body looks, but I’m even more impressed by how my body feels!!!! Thank you so much for helping me get my confidence back- I couldn’t have done it without your help.”
And just recently, Malissa shared with me:
” OMG I feel like a completely different person! I can’t even begin to explain the level of transformation I’ve experienced these last few months- I mean seriously…I’m talking full mind and body change here! I have energy. I have my confidence back, and I feel like I’m finally giving my family a version of myself that they deserve to see. Thank you so much!”
By having someone who is in your corner that understands your struggles, who can hold you accountable and lead you to your goals, you are able to gain the clarity and confidence you need to truly live a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.
As a fitness coach + certified personal trainer I’m here to be that person for you.
If you’re ready to stop trying to navigate through this fitness journey alone and are ready to have the clarity you need to take the right steps toward your goal, I’d love to see how I can help.
There are quite a few reasons why women choose personalized fitness coaching- but the main reason is that they are tired of DIY-ing their way through this fitness thing + only seeing moderate results despite all their hard work.
You may be in that same boat right now + you’re wondering if fitness coaching is truly right for you…
So, let me offer you this perspective: Since when did ‘doing it all’ mean you had to do it all by yourself?
In today’s world it’s normal to feel overbooked, over-extended + over-committed.
Maybe you’re a stay-at-home mom with little ones fighting for your attention. Maybe you’re a boss babe starting a business + scaling it to 6-figures. Or maybe you’re a college student burning the candle at both ends, just trying to keep your life together.
You want to improve your health + feel better in your body, but you don’t know ‘how’… and honestly, trying to figure that out seems like too much work considering everything else you have on your plate- I get it!

I used to feel shame for not having this whole fitness and health thing figured out. I truly believed that living healthy was just common sense to most people… And in case you believe that too- let me tell you, it’s not!
It’s alright to not know what you’re doing. It’s alright to ask for help. Being supported won’t diminish your results + it won’t lessen those feel good vibes you get from reaching your goal.
It will, however, ensure that you get the results that you really want.
Take it from me- you don’t need more information on diet + exercise.
What you need is 1:1 support to help you make sense of the overwhelming amount of information there is regarding fitness.
You need eyes on you to ensure you’re making progress (in a loving + encouraging way of course).
And you need a no-fluff strategy that will get you there- to your specific fitness goal.
I offer this all inside my signature coaching program- and would love to have as a member inside.
Here to support YOU! XO- Britney (ms.fit.farmer)
